These annual flowering plants -aka primula- have monochrome,bi-color or even triple (as the red flowers above with yellow center and a hairline of white at the edge of petals). I don't like the monochrome because they tend to look wash-out and not as vibrant. Their diminutive size is great for table decoration and in front of border. One drawback is that they are not hardy to frost or in cold weather. Whenever you see them in stores, the spring is forth coming.
